नीच मनुष्य

जेहि ते नीच बड़ाई पावा।

सो प्रथमहिं हति ताहि नसावा॥

धूम अनल संभव सुनु भाई। 

तेहि बुझाव घन पदवी पाई॥

jehi te neech badhaee paava

so prathamahin hati taahi nasaava.

dhoom anal sambhav sunu bhaee. 

tehi bujhav ghan padavee paee.

अर्थ

नीच मनुष्य जिससे बड़ाई पाता है, वह सबसे पहले उसी को मारकर उसी का नाश करता है। हे भाई! सुनिए, आग से उत्पन्न हुआ धुआँ मेघ की पदवी पाकर उसी अग्नि को बुझा देता है।

व्याख्या

नीच मनुष्य जिस थाली में खाता है उसी थाली में छेद करता है। जो उसको आश्रय देता है उसी को ही आश्रय से बाहर निकाल देता है। जो उस को खाना देता है उसी के मुख से निवाला छीन लेता है। जो उसका भला करता है उसी का वह बुरा करता है।

Meaning

 A mean man, first of all, destroys the person through whom he achieves success. O brother! Listen, the smoke produced by the fire, after becoming a cloud, extinguishes the same fire.

Description

A mean person makes a hole in the plate in which he eats. He throws out the person who gives him shelter. He snatches the morsel from the mouth of the person who gives him food. He does bad to the person who does good to him.
