कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।

मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि।।

अर्थ

इस श्लोक में श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं  कि कर्म पर ही तुम्हारा अधिकार है, कर्म के फल पर तुम्हारा अधिकार नहीं है। इसलिए हमें केवल कर्म पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। कर्म के फल की चिंता नहीं करनी चाहिए। इस श्लोक में कर्म का महत्व समझाया गया है।

Meaning

In this verse, Shri Krishna tells Arjun that you have the right on your actions only, you do not have the right on the results of your actions. Therefore we should focus only on karma. One should not worry about the results of one's actions. The importance of karma is explained in this verse.
